Scripture: Ephesians 3:20
God’s power is the power that works in a believer’s life.
Paul describes God’s power as “exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think” (NKJV).
Other translations have different wording; compare them.
Paul’s description of God’s power begins with all that humans can think of, which includes one’s wildest imagination.
Paul says God is able to do above or beyond what all humanity can think and conceive.
Finally, Paul says that God can exceedingly do those things that are above or beyond human thought.
Faith is more than blind belief. It is trusting in the real and extensive power of God.
God’s power is one of the reasons behind His great glory.
Believers should feel encouraged by the scope of power that is working in their lives.
Difficult times, set backs, and worst-case scenarios should be compared to God’s power.
When called upon to exercise faith, believers should recall how much power is in their lives.
Believers have capacity to carry out Kingdom work that extends far beyond human ideas.
