The past eighteen months have brought struggles upon everyone in some way. People have experienced fear, exhaustion, grief, divisiveness, anger, confusion, depression, and other feelings. But, whatever feelings and circumstances a person experiences, the answer to their problem is the same. His name is Jesus Christ.

In John 16:33, Jesus said, “I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.” His words remind us that true hope is found in Jesus only.

Over 1.7 million New Mexicans have no personal relationship with Jesus. They cannot experience the perfect peace that Jesus offers His followers. But, New Mexico Baptists can tell them the good news of salvation!

We are designing the 2022 New Mexico Evangelism Conference to equip and inspire Christians to share that good news. The conference is for everyone who wants to be better prepared to share his or her faith and point others to Jesus’ hope.

For several years, the NMEC has pursued the theme “1 Focus. 1 Family. 1 Faith.” But, it fits better this year than ever. New Mexico Baptists need to demonstrate their unity before a fractured world.

Sandia Baptist Church, Albuquerque, will host the conference, Feb.28 – March 1, 2022. It will feature great worship, gifted speakers and a host of wonderful breakout session leaders. Mark your calendar, and plan to attend.
