CLOVIS (BNM) - A tradition held each year at the Annual Meeting of the Baptist Convention of New Mexico is the introduction of new staff who have come to New Mexico in the past year. This year, Joseph Bunce, executive director of the BCNM, invited any new church staff members who were present to approach the platform, introduce themselves and tell which church they are serving. This year, 13 new staff members introduced themselves.

The group of new staff members included Joy Hocker, worship leader at Monterey Baptist Church, Albuquerque; Hilario Perez, pastor of First Baptist Church, Clayton; Curtis Sanchez, youth pastor at First Baptist Church, Belen; Michael Cannon, pastor of First Baptist Church, Lordsburg; Mike Napier, pastor of First Baptist Church, Aztec; Todd Sullens, pastor of First Baptist Church, Ruidoso; Howell Scott, pastor of First Baptist Church, Carlsbad; Jordan Drake, family pastor at Anchor Church, Albuquerque; Rusty Stewart, pastor of First Baptist Church, Quemado; Dallas Guidry, student pastor at Central Baptist Church, Clovis; Juan Rodriguez, student pastor at First Baptist Church, Roswell; Charles Lord, pastor of First Baptist Church, Silver City; and Mario Navarro, church planter, Hobbs.
