During the 2018 BCNM Annual Meeting, executive director Joseph Bunce asked all new staff members and their spouses, to come to the platform and introduce themselves. Eight new staff members joined Bunce on the platform to be introduced to messengers. They are as follows:
Johnny Spicer is the new pastor at First Baptist Church, Moriarty. His wife, Candace, and four children, were unable to attend the convention.
Chris Promersberger is the new pastor at Mountain Valley Baptist Church, Edgewood. He moved from Denver to fill Mountain Valley’s pastorate.
John McDaniel is the new worship pastor at First Baptist Church, Santa Fe. He and his wife have a new baby, so she was unable to travel to Las Cruces with him for the meeting. McDaniel is a California native.
Matt Celoria is the new pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Alamogordo. His father was a former music minister in Roswell, and Celoria’s wife was raised at Bethel Baptist Church.
Ronny Cooksey is the new pastor of Sandia Baptist Church, Albuquerque. He and his wife, Kathy, have eight children. The Cookseys moved from Oregon to fill the pastorate at Sandia.
Aaron Crawford is the new pastor of Monterey Baptist Church, Albuquerque. He introduced himself as introduced himself as “the only pastor” at the church and said many of his congregation are in their 70's and to “please pray for them.”
Sean Richins is a new staff member at New Mexico State University Christian Challenge.
Nathan White is the new music and children’s minister at First Baptist Church, Tucumcari. His wife’s name is Haley.
