Numerous individuals will participate in leading the Baptist Convention of New Mexico's 2017 Annual Meeting in Bloomfield. Convention officers include John Hinze, president, pastor of First Baptist Church, Tucumcari; Jared Bridge, first vice president, pastor of Anchor Church, Albuquerque; Beau Lamb, second vice president, pastor of First Baptist Church, Santa Rosa; Nancy Faucett, recording secretary, and Kim Treece, assistant recording secretary, both BCNM staff; and Jason Anderson, parliamentarian, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, Silver City. Dave McFadden, pastor of First Baptist Church, Portales, is state Executive Board chairman. Joseph Bunce is BCNM executive director.

Leading music in the three sessions of the convention are Lamar Morin, the BCNM's Leadership Development Team leader; Derick Wilson, worship pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Farmington; and Daniel Elias, worship pastor at the host church, First Baptist Church, Bloomfield.

Monty Mullenix, pastor of the Bloomfield church, will welcome those in the initial session of the convention and lead in prayer. Frank Page, president of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee, will share a message in the opening session. Steve Ballew, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Farmington, will present the adoption of the program to messengers.

Randy Rankin, administrator of the New Mexico Baptist Children's Home & Family Ministries in Portales, and Rick Breeden, president of the New Mexico Baptist Foundation, both will present reports for their entities. The Church Finance Corporation will not present a report, since the convention voted last year allowing the organization to become independent from the convention.

Keith Berryman, pastor of First Baptist Church, Farmington; Larry Evans, pastor of First Baptist Church, Cloudcroft; and Bob Schlauger, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Aztec, will close each session with a benediction.

Dan Sanders, pastor of First Baptist Church, Aztec; and Ty Houghtaling, pastor of First Baptist Church, Artesia, will read Scripture and lead an invocation in two convention sessions.

Michael Catt, pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church, Albany, Ga., will share two messages.

Craig Sundheimer, worship pastor for First Baptist Church, Rio Rancho, Alan Stoddard, pastor of First Baptist Church, Ruidoso; and Aaron Colyer, pastor of First Baptist Church, Roswell, will share convention committee reports.

Hector Belmonte, pastor of Iglesia Sinai Church, Albuquerque, will deliver the Convention Sermon in Spanish. His son, Alfonso, associate pastor of the church, will translate his message into English.
