Caleb E. at the IMB Connect Dinner

The Baptist Convention of New Mexico’s annual meeting was held at Mesilla Park Community Church in Las Cruces. As part of that meeting, an IMB Connect dinner was held at the Christian Challenge building on New Mexico State University’s campus on Tues., Oct. 23. During the program, Caleb E. shared about his experiences serving as a summer missionary for two summers. Caleb, a senior at NMSU thanked New Mexico Baptists for providing an avenue for him to serve in this capacity.

CLOVIS (BNM) - In conjunction with the Baptist Convention of New Mexico’s annual meeting, the BCNM’s Missions Mobilization Team will host an International Mission Board Connect Dinner, Tuesday, October 22, at 5 p.m., at Central Baptist Church in Clovis, following the afternoon session of the annual meeting. In an announcement, the MMT said the "inspiring and informational time" will explain how churches can participate in taking the Gospel to the nations. 

The dinner will feature International Mission Board president, Paul Chitwood. Attendees will also hear about IMB missionaries from New Mexico who are serving around the world. Attendees must pre-register and pre-pay by visiting The cost is $15 per person, and includes a plated dinner. The registration deadline is Oct. 9, 2019. This event may sell out.

The BCNM’s annual meeting will take place October 21-23 at Central Baptist Church, Clovis, and the New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services facility in Portales. Ronnie Floyd, president and CEO of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Executive Committee, and Paul Chitwood, International Mission Board president are both scheduled to speak during the annual meeting.
