ALBUQUERQUE (BNM) – Summer camps will return to the Baptist Convention of New Mexico’s Inlow and Sivells facilities for 2021. The convention canceled 2020’2 camps due to COVID-19. But, it is moving forward with events for the 2021 summer season. BCNM staff regularly posts information online at bcnm.com/camps with updated information. The website lists each camp and its status.

Below is information for events not covered in other articles in this issue.

Young Lives Ablaze Camp, June 14-18, Inlow Baptist Camp. The camp is for boys and girls completing grades 3 – 6 before the summer. Early registration is April 1-May 10 at $200 per camper. Late registration is May 10 – June 10 at $220 per camper. Registration requires a $40 non-refundable deposit per person. Online registration closes June 10.

Connection Camp, June 21-25, Sivells Baptist Camp. The camp is for boys and girls who complete grades 3-6 before the summer. Early registration opens April 1-May 17. The cost is $200 per camper. Late registration runs May 19 – June 17 at $220 per camper. Registration requires a $40 non-refundable deposit per person. Online registration closes June 17.

Children’s MusiCamp, July 26-30, Inlow Baptist Camp. This camp gives children, who completed grades 2-6 before the summer, an opportunity to take part in learning all the layers of a musical production. Campers spend the week learning a musical production that is presented on the last day of camp. They also learn other facets of music ministry. Additional details will be announced when they are available.

Children’s Mission Camp, July 19-23, Inlow Baptist Camp. This camp is still in planning. Watch bcnm.com/camps for details.

Worship4Life Student Leadership Camp, July 12-16, Inlow Baptist Camp. The camp equips students, who have completed grades 7-12 before the summer, to serve in their church. Students select a focus group and spend the week learning about life-long worship and leadership from New Mexico pastors and church leaders. Indian Family Camp. This camp is postponed until 2022.
